STORM DENIM
When researching into technology in fashion I wanted to source a fabric which would resit staining and spillages caused by my target consumer on a day to day basis. I was referred to review ‘STORM COTTON’ technology by a lecturer of fabric technology. The brand manufactures denim which is water resistant, contains anti stain technologies, resists creasing and would be perfect for my target consumer.
Properties used in these anti stain fabrics can be held in some fabrics such as neoprene, by applying a stain resistant coating to the fabric during the manufacturing process. my target consumer mentioned they often chose darker fabrics due to the high risk of staining to the garment when they spill things throughout the day, however by using anti stain technologies throughout my garment range I have made the choice of a white garment relevant to my beautiful object as well as accessible for my market.
